As a visual creator this is pretty bloody important stuff. I wasn't good at maths, english, science (& pretty much everything else) but ART, ART saved my life! There are so many youngsters who need art. When I was 8 my then teacher told me I should be an artist. His words stuck with me for life.

It has just been announced that the Government intends remove Art History from the senior curriculum subject list.
