I think art and entertainment are becoming devalued as the cost of living goes up. Maybe it's just actual geopolitical and socio-economical fuckery that has been making life hard for me. What I really want is to just work for some money and tell people about cool shit when I'm off the clock.

Attention is so fleeting, and it becomes worse by the day. I'd love to be unconcerned with the whims of other people and simply live for my own pleasure, but I don't think I have that luxury. Doubt governs my mind, and sometimes it would just feel nice to know something is worth still doing.

Nowadays it feels like you have to be a marketing firm on top of the thing you are trying to creatively put out. It's not just good enough to have a good book or a tight one-hour show - it's who you know and on how many platforms are you reposting your drivel in the hopes of catching an eye.

Obviously nothing in life is guaranteed. I'm definitely failing on the self-advertisement and the networking part of life, but at the same time, how should I keep on keeping on, if even my closest peers don't give me the time of day, a word of feedback or just a plain ol' harsh truth.

The whole thing feels very much like "let's go talk politics and be angry at each other somewhere else;" the medium here doesn't matter all that much. The internet continues to be five "websites," where each is just people posting screenshots of the other four, looking for then next lolcow.

Also here's the remix that was initially on a soundcloud that no longer seemingly exists, only to resurface 2 years ago, after an issue with (I assume) Greco Roman music:

That and I recently found that frequent English-Italian collaborator Valentina, who has been not only remixed by Soulwax and the likes of Scattle, but is also a fantastic solo artist, seemingly has been releasing albums for years on a page different from the 2013 release of her EP Wolves.

It also proves my longstanding theory that all car enthusiast programming inevitably leads to the possession an electronic music collection. All car enthusiast programming also inevitably needs an electronic soundtrack - see Gran Turismo, Wipeout. Even F1 looks more fun with the tunes on.
