On this day in 1969, the self-titled debut album by Boz Scaggs was released. Recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama, its centrepiece is the epic soulful blues 'Loan Me a Dime' featuring Duane Allman on guitar, one of my favourite ever guitar performances. Take it home Duane.
