The overwhelming desire to do everything perfectly the FIRST time is so beyond detrimental to productivity. The terror of shame lurking around the corner, the absolute fear of looking stupid or naive for making mistakes.

I think I did a thread on this a while back but Midir, King Ghidorah, Lichdragon Fortisaxx, Dragon Lord Placidusax, and Bayle have really stuck out to me.

If I can give one set advice to young artists, it’s that you don’t have to worry about art style!
Keep doing what you do! Your interests, skills, lack of skills, things you don’t like and avoid drawing, snd your lineweight will create your art style over time.
