RSS is the *real internet*
It's what really enables podcasts to exist, not Spotify.
Newsletter: In a media landscape dominated by algorithmic feeds that aim to manipulate and extract, sometimes the most radical thing you can do is choose to read what you want, when you want, without anyone watching over your shoulder.

Here’s how to use RSS.

"Eat healthier! Eat more fruit and vegetables!"
I'm allergic to so many fruits and vegetables you might as well hand me a multivitamin and call it my daily serving.

It took 4 months after the wedding for someone to ask when we'd have a baby. Two people asked in one week.

Opened that crescent door in the antechamber... only to not be able to reach it. Tried 5 more times to make it and the draft pool said "Have you tried the red rooms?"

Shout out to all the men in Lowe's these past few weekends that have seen me hauling lumber, paint, and tools and stopped to say "Let's go weekend project warrior!" and "You get it, girl! Finish that project!"

And the music.

The music.

The music.
It’ll be a while before I can talk coherently about SINNERS but some thoughts:

The history of Black music sequence is the most transported I’ve ever felt in a movie theater. I felt it in every molecule of my body.

I want more of the Native vampire hunters. Give me ALL of that lore.

Saw #Sinners for the first time tonight. I'm going to need about a month to process the layers of that film. Fantastic horror movie that creates enough emotional ties to get you invested. The use of music is something to be studied here - the music was a character on its own.

Read Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary in a few days. Wow. Where The Martian was "real world" science and survival, PHM is a sci-fi dive into a possible future of some of that real world science and a healthy dose of an author's "why not?" with a perfect unlikely hero

Finished it last night. Holy fuck what a great read!
It's not an action packed story, but that doesn't stop the suspense from building.
What a fantastic exploration of global ethics, environmentalism, and answering a call for change that feels very relevant right now.
My current read: The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler.

Fantastic slightly futuristic science fiction hitting my special interests in marine life, linguistics, and AI.
