Hey folks, i know it's been a while since i last posted; mostly been busy with things that don't quite fit here... but! i sat in on a video call discussing sauropods this weekend, and felt compelled to doodle some of the topics that came up--such as how sauropods managed to get any sleep

Its head leans against the trunk, and a branch helps hold it up. The apparently content titanosaur has its eyes closed, and little cartoon "z"s float up from its nose.

I've got this "wonderful" back end of a palm warbler for #WorstBirdPic... somehow it still proved useful in trying to id the little thing!

gearing up for halloween, here's some of my spooky dinosaur art--Ghost Ranch living up to it's name....
A nighttime scene; the sun has just set and there's still a glow to the west, silhouetting rocky mesas in the distance. In the foreground, a phantom Ceolophysis darts over its own fossil, casting the surroundings in eerie green light.
