In many ways, the Hirshoshima Panels by Iri and Toshi Maruki are the Japanese equivalent of Picasso's "Guernica". There are 15 of them, each measuring 1.8m x 7.2m. Housed in their own gallery, they're an anti-war statement showing the human tragedy of nuclear weapons and nuclear testing

The play that invented modern theatre! 🎭
If you love theatre, then you'll love this very first English translation of the very first full-length Expressionist play! It's a lost masterpiece that every actor, director, designer and theatre lover should get to know. Available in Kindle and paperback.

Just uploaded my translation of Reinhard Sorge's "The Beggar" (Der Bettler) to Kindle. Should be available in a few days. Still formatting the paperback version. The Beggar was the world's first full-length Expressionist play (written in 1911). The full play has never been translated into English!
