Kind people are cool.
The restaurant trick for moist turkey breast slices no matter what: have a pan of warm broth (box chicken broth will do!) nearby and just dip turkey slices in warm broth just before serving. Good way to reheat a little, too!

Bake stuffing separately from the turkey. I think America’s Test Kitchen or Cooks Illustrated can set you up with separate stuffing/bird recipe timing plans. I’ve read that stuffing in the turkey doesn’t get hot enough for food safety until the turkey is overdone. And people love stuffing!

When it becomes public, I dearly hope you’ll do a mini-rant here!

Yup! My hates-new-things relative absolutely went to town on the last batch I made (after a very tentative first bite.)
Gets wiped out every time, in my experience.

Collect all the bits of cheese, get some garlic and some wine (or a little bullion/broth/cider) and chuck it all in the food processor. Once it looks spreadable & homogeneous, you can pack it into ramekins or a crock and serve with crackers and other savory bits. food52.com/story/18513-...

The thing I love most about that kid’s offer is that I imagined an extended family of folks that had something good they wanted to share and probably asked, “hey, could you bite this for me?” repeatedly in this child’s life. Just lovely to envision.

I met a very dapper little kid while I was getting a few big cookies at a bakery counter. This adorable kiddo offered to do a service for me when the cookies were in my hands. “I could bite that for you!” is now something said in our household whenever someone has something very delicious-looking.

Is it the ghost-romance one?

The food-trap possibility was giving me the ick a bit, so I am glad to hear that sounds like it isn’t as much of an issue in reality.

And served on a reasonable looking dish, too! Hooray!

Are they full of little recessed areas? Or is that just an illusion?

The textured-looking dishes are… something? Clearly a theme, but makes me wonder who cut a deal for a restaurant’s worth of black and white organic-ish net stuff. (I get very distracted by visual textures, but I hope you really enjoyed your dinner!)

My buddy in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, was able to get some images of a fuchsia column in the dark sky. Said not as evident to the naked eye, but came out very well via phone camera.

It seems to be migraine season! I know 3 folks that were down with migraines on Saturday alone.

Consider posting the pay range, please? It would save everyone some time, including yourself. (Not trying to be a jerk, but work is hard for so many right now & pay clarity is helpful.)

My friend had luck leaving a message at the San Francisco office voicemail, but e-mail is possible too!

The qualities of the reader & production values make a difference to me, but some stories just aren’t my thing. I will check out other books read by someone that I enjoyed, though.

Iron deficiency will definitely wipe you out and it comes with a big bunch of other unpleasant symptoms. Sorry you have to experience that right now. Best wishes that inexpensive iron supplements will be sufficient!

If you are able to get audio books from your local library, you might find that a differently satisfying reading experience.

Ooof, I feel for the staff and all the “guests.” I would extremely dislike that experience on either side.

Is this a relatively recent thing that employees are made to do? Is it just the retail folks? (I haven’t been to a Disney anything in quite a long time.)

Would be kind of amazing if the scandals of each president were listed under each framed picture.
