I had an old friend (Rise In Power of the Muse, Darioush!) who was an amazing santoor player. The sound of it echoing through the live-oak trees at the Blackpoint renaissance faire was unforgettable, part of the essence of that place & time. I shall have to find a moment to listen to Persian piano!
