There's more "fight" yet to be had here and it's going to go on for a while. I am glad the Senate voted for the previous budget extension and kept the courts up and running, and it was time end the shutdown (which gave our saner reps a chance to plan). I think a lot of people are sick of the chaos.

We'll see which way the trap springs.
It's always good to know, as well, what's in the Constitution but this is getting downright Shakespearean.

The DOJ must have gotten their "frame a Dem" redactions in order just in time.

One of the most insidious effects of trauma is not being believed. It undermines your understanding of what is real and whether you are sane.
If, after all this, the evidence is so comprised by the felon and his handlers that it resolves nothing, then these women will have been victimized again.

And/or meticulously redacted to incriminate one or more Democrats and only Democrats.

with meticulously redacted/compiled material.
We won't know anything concrete until we see what the files do or don't reveal. I used to be an editor. One thing I know right down to the ground is that a story is shaped by what is left out as much as -- or more than -- by what is kept in.

Epstein was a civilian, but I expect that at least some of his "clients" were people whose status might raise security concerns.
Also, Johnson may be seeding the ground for an "I told you so" moment when he reveals whatever case was being built during the shutdown to incriminate "a Democrat"

Always it's game of "mine's bigger than yours."

Your installations reminded me of Alexis Rockman's work-- a very different style but a similar interest in how walking not so lightly on the earth may be influencing it (the earth). I love that "wait a minute" experience.

I have recently been re-reading things I read ages ago -- some classics like the Bronte girls works and some popular fiction like Mary Stewart's Merlin trilogy. Some of them are quite the revelation now that I've had some more "life experience."

Lawyer folks, I have a question.
If "the" Epstein files are substantially altered, is it legal for other people (witnesses, victims, possibly co-conspirators) and jurisdictions to release their evidence and testimonies in order to refute or substantiate "the files"?

I know this is not the best "informed citizen" response, but I had to shut off the sound when he was speaking.

Everyone also let "young lady" (and so much else) pass.
The Epstein stress and his advancing dementia are causing him to blurt out what's in the front of what passes for his mind. Maybe it's a good thing to expose it.

It's very hard to see suffering and know that patience is your only tool to help. You're doing the right thing. 😽

The tail is an extension of the spine -- which houses the central nervous system. So yes, anything you do could be extremely painful because the nerves are so close to the surface. Patience is your friend, and you are hers. 😽

I wasn't following the campaign minutely, but I doubt Mr Mamdani campaigned on sex trafficking ("chicks for free"). That's the other guy, and party.
