I've only seen the film once so am not sure if this is something because I don't know if I'm writing it in character and that annoys me...

(Also please know that I personally am straddling the ambiguous "possible lover or substitute mother figure?" line with these two...) #Frankenstein2025
Elizabeth is dead. It creates an ache within but he knows and accepts this. She passed from the world years previously, and Victor followed long ago, his presence still looming large in the Creature’s heart. But it’s Elizabeth who truly possesses whatever forms his soul. He doesn’t know if it’s another cruel quirk of his unnatural biology—his dreams brought forth into miserable reality—or if her shade has truly risen from the grave. But she is here. She is always here. Beautiful and open; the only one who looked upon his patchwork flesh and saw the person beneath. He turns to her now, falling to his knees to embrace her slight yet solid form. She strokes her cool fingers over his scalp and cradles the back of his head, accepting him against her trembling breast. “I wish you were truly by my side,” he mumbles, nose nuzzling into her bodice and closing his eyes. She shushes him, rocks his body with a sway of her hips. “I’m always by your side.” “I forgave him,” he confesses. An unburdening Elizabeth has endured countless times. “It was the right thing to do,” she replies, sliding a hand beneath his chin. His eyelids flutter open and she tilts his head up, her kind gaze never leaving his face. “You’re more like him than you’ll ever know.”

by the way, you're not doing nothing. Slow creative days happen. Rough days happen. Believe me, I get it. But staring at your WIP, visualizing, adding a note for later, hell even just italicizing a single word. that shit counts. it's something. you're making an effort. that's never nothing.
