The curse of LLMs. If you have no idea what you're doing, it can get you on the right track. If you do know what you're doing, you will realize it was infact not the right track.

I've just spent two weeks trying to fathom spherical harmonics. Now I almost do, at least to the point where I can use them to some effect. It's a lot when even some of basic trigonometric substitutions I need feels like a distant fever dream.
