The Trump administration reminds me of the John Waters move “Pink Flamingos.” As if they are all competing in a contest to win the title of being the most vile, disgusting people in the world.

Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi went to a consulate in Istanbul to get a document he needed to get married. Instead, he was murdered and dismembered on the orders of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, now a close pal of Donald Trump.

I could watch a new one of these Donald Strachey gay private eye movies every Saturday for the rest of my life.

It’s cheap genre fare, but well written and well acted.

This is begging to be weekly TV series, but thank LGBTubi for having all 4 of them.
A ★★★½ review of Third Man Out: A Donald Strachey Mystery (2005)
I could watch a new one of these Donald Strachey gay private eye movies every Saturday afternoon for the rest of my life. Thankfully there are 3 more of them.  Can’t believe how good this is for an ob...

As much as I appreciated the bonkers first season of “The Reharsal,” I’m not sure I’m up for any more of Nathan Fielder’s bullshit for season 2 after my experience with “The Curse.”

Wow. You put a white supremecist alcoholic rapist that worked a 1 day a week TV job in charge of the military and it didn’t work out? Who knew.

Probably the best, most relevant monologue in Star Wars history.

I stood out in the cold today for almost 2 hours at a Hands Off protest. I had to pee really bad. Where’s my check from George Soros?

I’ll be in Bloomington, IL. Hope to see you there.
This is the Hands Off! map for Saturday. Nearly 400,000 people have signed up to attend over 1,000 events in all 50 states. We hope to see you in the streets in two days to let Trump and Musk know they can’t intimidate us into submission: handsoff2025.com?SQF_SOURCE=i...

Severance is just stupid now, right?

When it happens, I hope it’s live on TV.

Finally catching up on X-Men ‘97. Halfway through and I’m struck by just how much they have cram-packed into this series. I’m amazed how expertly done it is, but did people who weren’t familiar with the comics source material have trouble following this? Because it is A LOT.

Not feeling Severance at all.

I didn’t really like the first season of Shrinking, another bland Apple TV “comedy” that was only just mildly amusing, so I skipped the second season when it aired. I needed a mental health day and gave it a shot as background noise. It surpasses the humor and heart of the first season by a mile.

You know it’s serious because Jake Tapper almost had a reaction other than queasy gas face.
