Don't get confused. The Obama Library is paid for by private funds. Honda never said it would build in Illinois and Vitamin A can't cure measles. Don't look to broadcast or cable news. Try AP News, Reuters, Internationally CBC, BBC, DW or the verified media of your choice.

I can't see the email. Tried in Duck Duck Go and Edge. I have noticed that the Network of the National Library of Medicine has stopped sending out activity emails.

And this cancelled class can't be a good thing either. I'm going to need more Butter Pecan ice cream.

Have a lot of comic/graphic book history. One is
Invisible Men: The Trailblazing Black Artists of Comic Books.

They didn't tell you that folks were either creators denied recognition or filled out the book based on a sketch or idea. And yes, there were black comic strips and books. #booksky

I'm busy downloading my Kindle books. I have a heck of a lot of Mad Magazines. Issues 1-20. Seems I had the thing for the early days.

Also a thing for early Superman. Dude was a straight up thug for justice. Destroyed a tenement, stole building supplies and built new housing by himself. #booksky

Detective Comics 643 - Library of Souls and Batman seeks help from a librarian named Jenny. Bats needed help with the DDC.

If he can go to a library, so can you. Hardbacks, paperbacks and audiobooks. Don't let people keep you from your books.
For some of us, our healing starts in the stacks.

Life Magazine. The issue with the embryo on it. Mom was not forthcoming. She couldn’t explain. That cabbage patch b/s thing was not going to work on me.

I went alone to the library. Librarian looked at me. Thought a bit. Took me to the stacks.

Found the containers that could help me understand.

Around first or second grade , I'm reading Thor and any Marvel comic I could snag. School tried to get me to read that stinking Dick and Jane stuff.

I'm reading about how Thor is trying to deal with his dad AND fight monsters. Did not have time for two dopes on the lane.

Rainbow bridge for me.

I was scarfing up the cartoons. That was full page in a newspaper every day.

I somehow moved to Mutt & Jeff at the grocery store. Comic books were the containers of the words that contained ideas.

Read what you can, unless your mom is picking out comic books for you. Then do the best you can.

The first thing I remember reading was a Dennis the Menace strip in a newspaper. I was young. Certainly, before Kindergarten.

I was reading whatever I could get my hands on. Comic strips were the containers of the words that contained ideas.

Read what you want, when you want.
