Also helpful: if Biomerieux’s BIOFIRE Filmarray is Flu A pos, but negative for H1N1 and H3N2 ➡️ repeat as per manufacturer’s recommendation. If same result:
➡️ possible H5N1, send to reference lab

Is your hospital's discharge pharmacy able to do a 30-day fill to get the patient to their first outpatient visit?
If you have a large Ryan White population, linking to the state ADAP (or having your university pharmacy also be the state ADAP in our case!) can be very helpful
