Thanks Niamh. I have contacted POV. I seem to remember a similar programme over 20 years ago in relation to SARS. It created a great demand for Tamiflu.
I did enjoy the programme and regard such programmes a major contribution to the public good.

There have been two fatalities, IIRC. A small child in California, no idea how he was infected. An adult woman who caught it from her backyard flock.
