Oh, hey, there's a Profile button here. Only took me, what, eight months to notice it?
Aww, that was a little too easy.

On the bright side, the fact that these people actually believe that feeding people isn't the government's job means we can laugh in their face whenever they say we're a Christian country.

Not forever. The new red mana will still be lost the next time you would lose the mana, unless this effect turns THAT mana red as well.

Effectively, the mana stays long as Ozai is still on the battlefield, not forever.

Joke's on them. I don't speak nearly often enough, or audibly enough, for something like that to work.

Pai Gow is the name of multiple casino games. The algorithm probably doesn't look any deeper than the fact that the title of the video included a literal casino game.

Years later I'd find out he'd actually bought the game weeks before that and spent hours and hours practicing that one track when I wasn't home, just so he could win that one race.

Sadly, you never realize the halcyon days of your youth until they're gone.

Reminds me of a story of my dad. We used to play a lot of Jet Moto for PS1 as a family, until one day he comes home with a copy of Jet Moto 2, puts it in, and challenged me to a race.

He beat me by about one second, refused my challenge for a rematch, and never played it again.

If you think that stops after you finally get the job, I've got some bad news for you.

Sacrifice a creature, not a swamp. But I hear that is *also* an upside in a few black decks...

For just a moment I thought this was Madeline Kahn in Clue and didn't even question it.

Bold to assume they have enough time to read the cards they print before they print more cards.

A third of the interest *so far*.

Having a billionaire that defends basic human rights for a leader is far better than having a not-billionaire that sacrifices human rights.

Thank goodness I watched Multiplicity a half dozen times in the 90s so I could be prepared for this exact scenario.

Same, but totally not derogatory. That sheen is so incredibly helpful to let me know what to tune out when I want to see actual art that I'm quite grateful it's there.

I spent a summer on Lake Huron back in 2006, and I'll never forget the sunrises I saw crossing the clearing from my cabin to the kitchen every morning.

March of the Machine.

Invasion was great at the time, but really doesn't hold up.

I had a ton of fun with Mirrodin block, but I don't recall that one being particularly well-balanced either.

Just saw this on TV a few weeks ago and instantly fell back in love. Just so smooth.

Urbana.

We just got our first Raising Cane's here in Rockford in April....there's no way we'd get something like *Dutch Bros* any time this decade.

The ones who quit drinking probably weren't the ones drinking in any significant quantities to begin with.

Also, starting this year, the licensed sets such as Final Fantasy and Marvel: Spiderman are now Standard-legal, so you *also* have to pay all of the licensing fees that Wizards is passing down to you in order to play competitively.
August 13, 2025 at 2:19 PM
Current rotation is three years...and they've gone from four sets per year to six sets per year.

So Standard, the primary competitive format that had between 5 and 8 sets legal for 90% of the last three decades, was recently at *16* legal sets, and will likely hit 18 in the next year or two.

This card was impossible *not* to open in M21 collector boosters. I distinctly remember watching an opening where someone got *four* different Garruk's Gorehorns in a single collector booster.
