Yes to everything you said! I'm so happy this is happening, giving Martha Wells some more money and recognition which she so totally deserves and giving us a (hopefully) good show. And he's a good actor, he can pull off the vibe I think!

I don’t remember the details any more either, just the powerful grip it had on me. I had to look up who Racetrack was. It’s a great cat name in any case!
