It’s a special kind of cowardice—dragging your feet on paperwork for a divorce you asked for, because your wallet can’t cash the checks your mouth wrote.

I spoke to a solid Trump supporter about his 401(k) losses and tariffs. He said it was a small price to pay so that Trump can fix our broken financial and trade systems. Help me make sense of this!

Went to the Hands Off rally Saturday. It’s important to show up for what we believe in, even when we question what impact it will make. I don’t have all the answers, but I have a voice. I have a vote. And I’ll keep using both. #HandsOff

I’ll sum up Trump's speech for those who missed it:

He's raising costs for families with pointless trade wars.

He’s slashing health care for seniors and families.

He's going after the CHIPS Act and all the jobs it created.

And he’s abandoning allies for Putin.

Hold on or let go—my choice, always.
I don’t drift, I flow.
Not carried by hesitation, not waiting on the pull of another.
One hand in the embers, one foot on the ground.
I move with ease, with purpose,
untangled, unburdened, unbound.
What stays, stays. What goes, goes.
Either way, I remain.

I want to dance in the moon and stretch to the stars. I want to feel tingles in my toes and the thrum of my pulse. I want to be awake—fully, deeply, and unapologetically alive.

Trump bombards the media with lies, selling illegal ideas until people believe them. It’s terrifying, and I’m worried our leaders aren’t strong enough to protect democracy or people like me from his authoritarian ambitions.

Waking up in this space that feels like home, surrounded by the peace I’ve been craving, is a gift I don’t take for granted. Life is simpler, quieter, and sweeter here—and I’m so grateful for that. Here’s to fresh starts, genuine joy, and living in the calm.

I’ve experienced the opposite of balance and reciprocity in a partnership—where one person gives while the other takes, and silence fills the space where connection should be. Relationships should strive to be balanced, reciprocal, and deeply connected, so neither person is left longing in silence.
