the process that transforms the values of a (relatively) small group of business owners into the values of a whole society is better documented elsewhere

the business owners in my friend group are pretty open about their fantasies of power. they hear execs like Jamie Dimon abusing his workers and their eyes light up with inspiration. they rationalize it as "well somebody's gotta be in power, might as well be business owners"

after spending an embarrassing amount of time discovering that, I can confidently recommend forgetting it all and just adding an `org-link` inheritance to o-c and o-c-k faces

cite links *must* use the plain '[ ... ]' syntax. that doesn't tolerate spaces in the link text. but org-cite always inserts spaces between cite keys

last week was muddling through the probability distribution functions to calculate for some homework problems
