Great article! I lived in Italy for 3 years and it also felt to me that everyone just walked everywhere. Any indication that’s part of the lower obesity as well?

Yes. That’s definitely one way of looking at it that holds in many/most cases. Purugganan, who is a great plant scientist studying many domestications, seems to be backing a definition that all domestication arises out of a mutualism.

This being science, I’m sure some would disagree. :)
