By choosing a very short name "Meta AI" and keeping it focus on _just_ that, all the algorithm really sees is "AI". Give the algorithm a few days and thanks to the focused name and the existing momentum Meta AI will enter the top 5 results.

There's more to this...
April 30, 2025 at 2:43 PM
2. The name:

everyone's fighting over the keyword "AI", with a popularity of 75/100, but ChatGPT and Grok don't even have it in their name because they're "too cool". They make up for that mistake with lots of new ratings, but Meta can beat them without all of those ratings...

That the algorithm already knows of the app, which will help it index faster. And they'll need that for the *other* important change they made 👇

And not just a ton all at once, the algorithms hate that, they need a steady stream like the kind Meta View already had.

Not many... only 54 new ratings in the US App Store. But that'll probably change quickly.

The other benefit is 👇

When it comes to discovery, launching a new app requires a lot of energy to generate momentum. Meta has the capacity to do that with paid ads, but organic discovery is a different ball game.

Even for Meta.

To show up next to ChatGPT and Grok, the leaders, Meta needs ratings 👇

1. Reusing an existing app instead of making a new one:

Even though Meta is branding this as a new app, under the hood it isn't. Meta repurposed Meta View, the companion app for its smart glasses, as Meta AI.

Why? 👇

In the US, the App Store reads 10 localizations and indexes them all for search purposes. That means that you, like Jade, can use more keywords to get discovery.

How to do it + a full list of languages you can use in the US in the post below 👇
April 28, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Jade uses English words in the French localization, which the App Store in the US reads and indexes just like it does the English localization!

This isn't "illegal" or "blackhat ASO" just good understanding of the algorithm.

Curious how it works? 👇
