We have such a wonderful variety of strange, lovely, and thought-provoking stories to share with readers of our Sound/Silence issue, and I couldn't be more proud to work with these fantastic writers on my first foray into editing 🖤

I hear people are talking about more short story collections. I just picked a secondhand autoharp up at a pawn shop a while back on a whim and am very very slowly sort of learning to play a little (I mostly play guitar right now though). I am often too impatient to tune all the strings, there are so many. This book is v. beginner friendly:

14. I love the unique and, frankly, unhinged garden centre slash statuary park run by an eccentric sculptor in a little town near-ish where we live. It's a wonderful place to wander around and wonder if you are just maybe beginning to go a short ways out of your tiny little mind.

13. I love walking to get my mail. Canada Post doesn't deliver to most houses in our rural area most of the time, so we must walk to the community mail drop box down the road. Our route goes past a stunning view of the rivermouth opening wide to reveal the islands sheltering us from the raging sea.
