Have you seen this Witcher reference?

In season 2 of the Polish series 1670, the witcher Gerard of Rumia shows up, obviously referencing Geralt of Rivia!

Kovir and Poviss:

Kovir and Poviss are among the richest and most stable realms in the North, yet also famously non-belligerent. Kovir is mountainous, coastal, full of mines and ports; Poviss is more flat and agricultural.

Kovir and Poviss (and the winter capital, Lan Exeter) will appear in #TheWitcher4!

For gamers, these lands might sound exotic, whispered about in the Witcher games, but in Sapkowski's books, we've actually seen them.

Let's dive into what we know! 👇

I also briefly see a scroll written in Glagolitic script. It might contain some hidden information or clues, but so far nothing substantial has been deciphered

In the cinematic, we also get a glimpse of a manticore, one of the most feared monsters on the Continent.

Kelpie is back!

Yes, Ciri’s iconic mare has returned. She’s black, as described in the books, though maybe Ciri has picked up Geralt’s habit and now calls all her mares “Kelpie.” I want to believe it’s the Kelpie from the books :_)

At the beginning of the presentation, behind the devs, we saw a mysterious Glagolitic script flashing on the screen.

Later, it turned into the devs’ names, but Reddit users managed to decipher it:

ÏKOLA

GRÏKA

NOTARSKA

This is absolutely insane. Amazing job, huge congratulations to CD Projekt Red!

I’m going to interview Andrzej Sapkowski!

Still waiting for the travel date, but feel free to drop any questions you'd like me to ask him ⚔️📚

One shape even resembled the lynx medallion

I used Photoshop to overlay the image and guess what? New shapes and patterns started to emerge. Some look like monsters or even figures in prayer.

Back to Margit:

The notes we find in-game show that she’s involved in the study of these strange phenomena.
April 9, 2025 at 1:51 PM
After that, there’s another quest called “What Lurks in the Nemeta,” where nemeta (a product of the Conjunction of the Spheres) are explored.

These strange entities attract monsters and have some special qualities…

Could this connect to the Witcher 4?
April 9, 2025 at 1:51 PM
After diving into the Witcher Wiki, we found out that Margit is a character from The Witcher: Monster Slayer (the mobile game). She’s an expert in elven culture and shows up during the quest “Good Money” where you help her find a hidden scroll inside an elven figurine.

First off, the image had runes that said:

"ominous

Hey everyone, I’ve got something exciting to share about The Witcher 4.

Yesterday, a CD Projekt dev posted a mysterious image in the official Witcher Discord channel. What happened next? A whole lot of digging and a few big discoveries… 👀

It's never too late to recommend one of Andrzej Sapkowski's masterpieces, setting aside The Witcher, of course. I'm talking about the Hussite Wars trilogy, a brilliant saga that inspired the video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 👀

My favorite singer just took a pic with a surprisingly canon-accurate Geralt of Rivia mannequin

The more I reflect on Sapkowski’s decision to make Ciri the living Holy Grail of The Witcher saga, the more profound its implications for the story become—femininity, the subversion of traditional narratives, agency, redemption, hope, and more...

I’ve been thinking about the Scoia’tael in #TheWitcher. They’re a fascinating mix of war, politics, and the harsh realities of discrimination. Freedom fighters or terrorists? The answer depends on who’s telling the story 🐿️

Wondering what might have happened to Dol Blathanna, the Silver Towers, and if we’ll get to visit them at some point in #TheWitcher4

Kelpie in The Witcher 4 could be so interesting! Imagine her appearing next to you when called, like Roach, but it actually makes sense diegetically. She can teleport thanks to a magical bracelet that Ciri got with her after taking her from Hotspurn following his death.

Scenario 4: Confusion Reigns.

What if Henselt never named a clear successor?
Imagine nobles manipulating his kids (or grandkids) into civil war just to elevate their own houses.
