I found this Desmostylus second molar on a hike. It's now on display at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History at the University of Oregon. Have you ever found a cool fossil? I definitely want to hear about it.
Drove 85 mi after work to take a quick hike by the sea.

My youngest kid was invited to take a bagel making class by a rabbi who is a master bread maker. These are the kind of bagels that help you find God 😉. I asked for a custom flavor to be cranberry, orange, cinnamon. This is the tray my precious kiddo made and we enjoyed last Christmas. #bagel #food

The porpoise vertebrae that I've been working on with a mild acid prep have been producing unusually colorful aragonite crystals. These were taken outdoors with no filter of any kind. I have 2 prior posts if you care to check out the progress.
