LGBTQ+ rights, skating, dance, STEM, Aviculture, kayaking, odds and ends. Mostly in that order.
It's nice to have allies. Still, wish we had more though.
This week’s main story is about trans athletes, where the conversation around them is coming from, the nuances around competition and safety, and where it looks like things might be going. Full segment at the link in our bio.

Watching For All Mankind. The characters are amazing so far, but halfway through season 2 and Molly might be my favorite.

Just... as an American, same. I found the interview embarrassing.
Could not agree more. The Prez & VP are shameful, embarrassing Putin puppets & a disgrace to our country. 🤮

Ted Lasso is still a pleasant vibe.

I've been rewatching Babylon 5; I am surprised that my fondness for this series is more than just nostalgia. It's not an exact allegory for the times, but it's very good. It's amazing how much 90s sci fi holds up. Or maybe I am nostalgic about it, lol.

I cannot express my disgust sufficiently.

Cool. Great. Fuck. This is probably going to be immediately held up in court, but who knows with the current state of things how long that will last.

I'm frustrated. I want to DO things, be active, get out and around. Beyond just skating and dancing, though also that. I have an urge to maybe get involved in helping resist all the anti-lgbt crap. But I'm still recovering from surgery at the end of last month and will be until like March.... Ugh.

At the National Prayer Service, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde delivered a heroic, spontaneous act of rebellion—a sermon calling for mercy for immigrants and LGBTQ+ people. Naturally, Donold and his cult are big mad. Let’s break it down.
