So, it turns out there is also a YouTube Year In Review. It seems I watch a lot of videos about gate repair... and electric cars. But, #1 is movie trailers. The truth is, I don't really watch that much YouTube, and of most of what I watch, my kid is showing me on his account, so I'm sure it was pret

The problem with personal finance twitter is that people think the spreadsheet is the proof. This is what happens when too many people finish math too soon after blowing it off because they aren't good at it. What goes IN your spreadsheet matters, a lot.

I hate how MBA CEOs who cared more about Wall Street than their company ruined hundreds of American brands. Now, I don't know if a Fridgedare is higher quality, or if some Chinese manufacturer just bought the name.

Don't forget. We already had great American companies making stuff here in America, but Wall Street cheered on CEOs that fired people, moved manufacturing overseas, and gutted the business to maximize quarterly earnings, so that's exactly what they did.

If you're a dad, and you are getting ready to start camping with your kids, forget about whatever you used to do and get an inflatable tent. I'm not joking. 1000% easier. 1000% less likely to leak or lean or fall over. 100% more likely to result in happy campers.

It's time to focus healthcare reform on cost. We have insurance and we're fucked anyway. Out-of-pocket maximum + premiums = $20,000. You can't fix that with bullshit like where you send subsidies. It's the COST, not the savings or taxes or insurance.

I wish I had the little cute version of ADHD. I just finally remembered to get my meds. Then, I went to sink to get a glass of water to take them with. Drank the glass of water and went to my office, where I realized I was still holding the pills.
