I love this book and the next in the series. But hesitate to recommend it because who knows when the 3rd book will come out. Almost makes me wish I hadn’t started the series at all. Almost. 💙📚

Recently read The Wide Wide Sea by Hampton Sides and I highly recommend it. It was engaging, vivid, and informative without being slow or boring. Sides really brings to life Captain Cook's last adventure and (I think) does a good job trying to look at the excursion from all sides. 10/10. 💙📚
