I Enjoy anime, gardening, vtubers, science and nature. Also working on getting certifications in the tech industry. Finally, I am an individual with two disabilities, ankylosing spondylitis and auditory processing disorder.
It says a lot about many employers, when their response to workers demanding fair wages and working conditions, is to funnel money into AI research in hopes of getting general AI. That they then won't pay & will treat badly. Bonus note, they also don't get how their system of economics works.

I have a better idea because the GOP won't do jack about healthcare. VA needs to follow OR and have its universal healthcare, instead of waiting for the federal gov't. This would also have the other benefit of showing voters what the democratic party can do for them, when they have the gov't.

Given I'm seeing the whole "Let's do a 3rd party," we're stuck in a defacto 2 party system because of 1st past the post. We need rank choice voting to break the 2 party system & that is best achieved by taking over the democratic party in primaries. Not splitting the vote on the left under FPTP.

Last night proved that the Senate is a useless institution that needs to go. It's always democratic senators caving to the GOP or letting the GOP use the filibuster, that keeps our side from getting anything done.

The US should do what everyone else does when the legislature can't pass a budget. Hold a new round of elections because if the current government can't do that, they can't do jack shit to govern. Yeah, that means more powerful parties, but at least we'd know what we're getting from our candidates.

We also need campaigns to be publicly financed because unlimited money just allows for unlimited corruption and the wealthy to silence the masses. Furthermore, there should be strict limits on how gov't officials interact with the stock market and they can't own a business or BS crypto.

The court system needs reforms. Right now, SCOTUS is an aristocracy with super legislative powers. People get in for life, never have to worry about being removed and have plenty of ways to shut down any legislation they don't like without going calvinball.

Second, the founders hosed us by refusing to admit that parties are a natural result of democracies. Thus, we have a system incapable of properly dealing with them. We need rank choice voting so that we move beyond having just 2 parties. 2 parties that don't have much incentive to do better.

First, the senate needs to go. It was always an undemocratic body. It doesn't scale with population. Its were initially chosen by state legislature, rather than the people. Also, most times when progress hits a roadblock, while the liberal party is in power, it's a result of the Senate.

As a starter, the Trump admin should be forced to spend money that was congressionally mandated to be spent on certain things before the government re-opens. Also, any bill that reopens the government, should force the GOP to make concessions. If not, the GOP can burn the filibuster for their crap.

The GOP and the Trump admin are lawless scum.

I see, solve one issue by creating a new set of issues in the process...

Extra Credits had an episode talking about how people aren't imagining things with remakes looking worse than the original. It's fascinating to look at how media is made to take full advantage of the tech at hand and how that falls apart when new tech is used.

Oh look, another group of liars playing the game that the republicans have no agency. Well f that, I'm not playing that game because republicans do have agency and this garbage was passed solely off of republicans in Congress. It passed because of republicans.

Yeah, I really dislike the modern internet. Useless search results, when you get into more esoteric things. For instance, trying to find resources as an individual with a disability that doesn't fit the stereotypical mold that the public thinks of.

Also feel that the algorithm fosters drama.
