The US system of government is a failure; it doesn't meet the needs of the citizens. It has too many damn veto points that the wealthy and the conservatives can use to prevent anything from going in a positive direction. It is not a sustainable system and needs reforms.

This guy just passed the first part of his CompTIA A+ certification. Now to spend the next 2-3 months prepping for the second part.

Fun being one of the first people doing CompTIA A+ 1201. I'm hoping they fix some issues with their e-books. Because there is a weird format, where some bolded terms didn't get a space between them & the next word. Also, examples are in French for an English e-book.

If we somehow have a republic after the orange fascist trash. This country needs to go to rank choice voting, needs to kill the EC, abolish the senate, lifetime judicial appointments and the presidency.

For those keeping track, everyone that has tried our system ended up with a dictatorship.

Probably screaming into the void, but the US workforce needs to carry out a general strike.

Also anyone working in the service industry should stare refusing service to members of the republican party, members of the corporate media and members of the oligarchy, such as Elon Musk and Donal Trump.

I hate how my biggest worry these days is not that I'll struggle to get back into the workforce and create a better network.

It's the the right is going to destroy this country in a naked pursuit of power and expressing their hatred towards minorities.

For those not in the know, the first two groups of minorities that that Nazis went after were the trans community and individuals with disabilities.

The Trump administration going after both these communities is no coincidence and both his transphobia and ableism are nothing new.

There has been a lack of media literacy. To set the record straight for many fools that voted for Trump.

They aren't ST DS9's Bajorans, but the Cardassian Union.

They aren't SW's rebel alliance, but the Empire

They aren't Middle Earth's Last Alliance of Elves & Men, but Sauron's forces.

Passed the CompTIA ITF+ test. I hated how they worded things, didn't get as high as I would like, but 80% is still passing and had almost 70 more points than the lowest grade.

Now to help others in my group pass and start working on whatever I land on doing next. Either A+ or a programming.

So probably late, but just a heads up. Got a text from an outfit claiming to be Publius Polls today around like 5:30. So spent a bit digging to see who they are.

I'd recommend anyone that gets anything from them block and report.

Yesterday, my old man was driving me home the doctor, when someone decided to run the stop sign at an intersection. Luckily, no one was injured. One or both vehicles may be totaled at this point.

Now the impact did do one weird thing.

Hostile architecture is ableist in nature and one has to wonder if excluding individuals with its use, is another unstated goal of it's proponents.

So for the past month+ of job training. Not only have they been providing training for CompTIA certification and willingness to pay for the test if I can show I have the ability to pass. Also been getting training for professional skills, like making business cards.

Not my joke, but tis the season now.

The war on Christmas ends, when Christmas stops illegally occupying half of November and all of October and September.

As an individual with a disability, who lives in the US, there is an issue with finding resources that can help me and I only see that getting worse. Much of society is designed to warehouse and pretend we don't exist. It's a shame that too many want to keep that framework going.

Found a nonprofit to help me get my CompTIA cert, free of charge and help me polish up ability to land jobs.

Feels like high school did nothing for me in regards to writing a resume.

So how much worse is it these days, for those younger than 39 who attend a US high school?

The last five years have been rough. Had health issues that led to job loss. Once I recovered, I was met with the depression of being unable to find work. Finally, getting free CompTIA certification.

Would probably still be in self pity, if it hadn't come across @piratesoftware.live streams. THX

Going to give this a shot because in this day and age, one does have to engage with social media to some extent. Not sure what I'll get out of this either for personal connections or professional connections.

Just hope this places doesn't fall to toxic engagement.
