Salty old nerd that watches entirely too many horror films every year.

Rambling about movies, games, books and lamenting the decline of physical media.

I would even go as far as to say the Guyver movie is way better than this. It's goofy and dumb and trying to be TMNT itself but it at least had a script that made sense.

And I am saying this as a kid that grew up during originL full TMNT hype, saw this as a kid, had all the toys. I was a fan as a kid. But it haven't held on to it like some have I guess. This is just overly goofy and nonsensical.

Several films and animes in particular that I KNOW I had in the past and don't think I would have ever chosen to downsize those. Mostly now long out of print and impossible to find now. :/

Not that I am all up in arms about it myself, I don't care. Just an observation. Cavill Supe kills once and instantly is conflicted and regrets it. Corenswer Supe don't bat an eye when he's in a similar situation.

Mostly blind watch based on only knowing the infamous Is It Safe? scene... Honestly kind of the only good scene in the whole film. Weirdly convoluted plot that never coelseces to me. Oh well.

Will give myself the weekend to stew and digest a bit. See how my opinions on things shake out on favorites and worsts. Things have a tendency to grow on me as I think about them often.

May change up how to categorize this year too. With so many watched afraid things may get lost in the volume.

By far the most I've watched in a year here - got it into my head to try to work through my unwatched backlog of physical discs. Put a good dent in it for sure, but there's easily enough for next year leftover. Not to mention any new stuff I buy in the next 11 months. One day I'll catch up maybe...

I will say, as is tradition most of the big films I ended up saving for the end were kind of disappointing. Not straight up bad but just, not the show stoppers I was hoping for.
