Not entirely serious most of the time.

@support.bsky.team Sometimes I mute people I follow - mostly because they are temporarily off-topic to the reason I followed them (e.g. political stuff for some current issue).
I still follow them, so why not have a "Following (Muted)" category to easily check in and see if I want to un-mute them?

I just watched "Noel's Farm" (or whatever it's called) and Edmonds opened a pub in the first episode and people just turned up and it was a success.
I can't believe I've wasted several years watching #clarksonsfarm fucking it up.

I've only just realised the correlation between text limits in Tweets and writing code that I think eludes most manager-types - the more time I have to refine it, the more succinct and efficient my output will be.
We can all write 500 lines in a day, but give me two days and I could write 250 ...

Seeing the Nosferatu comments, I thought I'd give a shout out to the "Dracula" series that the BBC put out in 2020 (written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat), putting a great new spin on a classic tale.
It's funny too - Dracula, having offered a 'compromise': "I'm undead, I'm not unREASONABLE".

"First thing we climb a tree and then maybe talk. Or sit silently and listen to our thoughts."

And, if you like that, this is a blast too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK2Q...

I don't really listen to folk music much, but there's something about Martin's voice and playing that I find engaging.

I'm watching a Yardbirds documentary that made me think of this for some reason 🤷‍♂️

I first heard Scarborough Fair via Simon & Garfunkel and loved it. I found out years later that it has ancient roots, and this version (Paul Simon took the arrangement/melody from it) by Martin Carthy has been my go-to favourite version of it ever since. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCjU...
