Collection of Pokemon 3DS doodles… not what I usually post but Pokémon’s been one of my Big Things for a LONG time. Have a stupidly elaborate story for it I’ll probably never share. But uh, here’s some tidbits!
A digital doodle page filled primarily with Pokemon doodles. There’s a Cyrus, Hardenshipping (Maxie and Archie) dancing, and at the top left is a small comic of my self insert and Cyrus based off a meme. My self insert says, “I just wanna live in peace with my friends!” Cyrus says, “Arceus, you’re extremely fucking selfish. Die.” My S-I says, “I am 13 years old.” A digital set of doodles of Volo from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and my OC Valerio. The first drawing shows Volo looking down at Val, smiling, saying, “Found you, Valerio! I’ve been looking all over-“ He’s interrupted by Val leaping onto him in a hug, sobbing. There’s also a small doodle at the bottom of the page of chibi Val and Volo. A digital doodle of my pokemon self insert and Cyrus. My self insert is about 13 years old, while Cyrus is an adult. He’s looking down at her, though appearing stern, with some affection, while she’s looking up at him smiling. (A note - yes I am currently a trans man, but my self insert follows a story similar to my own where I did not really question my gender identity until later in life, so in these “before” instances, I refer to her with she/her pronouns.) Sybok and Spock doodles, a few focusing on an AU I’m writing where Spock inherits Sybok’s katra and retrieves him from that planet to be revived on Vulcan. Those doodles include Sarek attempting to visit Spock, who is resting post fal-tor-pan, and being confronted by Sybok who doesn’t want him near Spock; Spock waking up and being met by Sybok who’s been keeping watchful vigil of him; and Spock talking to Jim and McCoy off-camera while Sybok grooms the back of his head. Other unrelated doodles include a bust of Spock; two Sybok chibis; and a doodle of Spock clinging to Sybok, appearing scared, as Sybok tries to comfort him.

Some late night Spock timeline thinking… the more I hear of a certain show the more I just need to map out Spock’s backstory for my own goddamn self 😭 This takes place when Sybok is being banished. Sybok I imagine is about 22, they’re about seven years apart in age.

2/2 Spock & Sybok! I imagine it kinda interview style… they’re given a series of images of each other and asked to describe what they mean to them, and finally are given an image of themself.

Still thinking about the final frontier, so here’s some massive ramblings about this Sybok Lives AU I’m cooking up in my head. Also extended Saavik posting, I think he’d be a good uncle 🥺
A series of drawings and explanatory images of a Sybok Lives AU, an alternative take to the end of Star Trek: V. First drawing shows Sybok, freshly shaven, holding up the Vulcan salute, with the title, “Sybok Lives! AU (aka this bitch on Vulcan house arrest.)” The second image has written, “Rundown: Upon returning to Federation territory, Sybok, who was convinced not to sacrifice himself, was placed on trial for All That Bullshit. Eventually it's ruled that Sybok not be sent to some rehabilitation planet, in large part due to Spock (and conflictingly, Jim's) justification of Sybok's actions and assurances it will not happen again. So he's placed on house arrest, on Vulcan. Vulcan, particularly Sarek, tries to argue he's been banished, the rest of the Federation tells Vulcan they can't just. Banish their own when they have a disagreement. And that they need to take accountability for the actions of one of their own. Sybok is restricted to Vulcan for [insert appropriate period of time here], specifically told to remain in his father's home. Sarek is Not pleased. Spock takes out time to stay on Vulcan with his brother, Jim and McCoy come with him, though are still wary of Sybok.” The drawings above the exposition show a hand pointing at a confused Sybok. Behind him are Sarek, who looks very upset, and Spock, who looks relieved. Behind them are Jim and McCoy, drawn very small, but they’re supposed to be simultaneously relieved and wary. The third image has written, “Sybok gets cleaned up, and starts reacclimating to life back home. Spends a lot of time just being physically close to Spock. Meets Saavik, is very excited about having a niece. He genuinely is trying to be better, though still can't find himself agreeing to Vulcan's culture of logic. He starts writing, creating these well-crafted critiques of the common interpretations of Surak's teachings, and proposing his own alternatives that don't directly contradict Surak's words. He gets some heat for it, but he's always able to justify himself in a way that's simultaneously grounded in logic, but doesn't betray what he stands for. Spock spends a lot of time back-and-forthing with Sybok about his views, finding them fascinating, even if he doesn't fully agree with them.” The drawings above the exposition show Spock and Sybok close, Sybok studying something from a PADD, and Sybok happily showing off Saavik. The fourth image has written, “Sybok understands Jim & McCoy's caution of him, doesn't ever try to force them to be in his presence, but when they're around him, he's always expressing his gratitude to them that Spock has people that love him so dearly. He and Saavik grow close, as he can detect much of her pain and encourages her to talk about it, though never pushes her if she's not willing. He is a truly empathetic and understanding person outside of the weird brainwashing he would do to people, which he swears up and down he will never do again. He echoes much of Spock's points, that what happened to Saavik was not her fault and she was only a child. As for Spock, Sybok and him will often be seen mid mind meld, giving Spock the kind of affection he wanted from Sarek all his life. Drives Sarek up the wall, but he mostly just ignores Sybok's presence.” The drawings above the exposition show Sybok Vulcan saluting Jim and McCoy, who appear very wary of him, McCoy hiding behind Jim; Sybok speaking kindly to Saavik, who’s crying; and Sybok mind melding with Spock, both of them appearing satisfied.

Next four… uh oh!
Another set of four drawings continuing the previous comic. The first drawing shows a conversation continuing between Kirk and Spock. Kirk says, “What's going on, Spock? Why do you feel you have to leave so soon?” Spock says, “This type of... "relaxation," Captain. I do not quite have the same imaginative thoughts that humans have. I do not "want" the same way.” The second drawing shows Kirk, gesturing outward, while Spock follows closely behind him. Kirk says, “Surely there is something you want, Mr. Spock? Perhaps your parents in a more agreeable state? A certain doctor's mouth sewn shut? A chance to get out your anger, your sadness, in privacy?” Spock says, “No, I... you seem to greatly want me to utilize this planet's abilities, Captain.
