A couple snaps of my work. Rather enjoying the urban archaeology in contrast to rural.

I was humbled over the last few days with trips to Pompei and Herculaneum. The most spectacular sites, especially Herculaneum as the preservation is outstanding. The emotional feel is impressive.

On this day in 1451: The University of Glasgow was founded, making it the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world.
The UoG has been annoying people with the UoG accents for 574 years—longer than you’ve been mispronouncing “Edinburgh.”

A wee trip to Gainsborough Old Hall. Quite an impress place and the first spiral stair case I have come across that 'spirals the wrong way'.
