Scottish based. Scottish focused.
Either a typo, or there are very large parts of Fort William I am yet to find/explore. Enough to hold 5,603,231 residents.

Adding @arlingtonbaths.co.uk to the thread of ‘using ‘Grade’ to describe a listed building in Scotland’ shame.

Taking around a cracking old bookshop. Love this cracking advert from an old brochure from 1968.

Robertson proudly informing us that Bute and Rothesay Pavilion are outwith the jurisdiction of Scotland and use the English system.

Really really disappointed with the state this path has been allowed to fall into. C’mon Glasgow…

I don’t think it was intended as permanent, but it felt so fresh and innovative when it was built. A destination. Now it’s an eyesore.

It’s an incredible building.

I imagine the design brief just said ‘Make it grand… Oh and marble.. As much marble as you can fit in there… then some more.’

Very high Victorian.

How many Glaswegians know they can get a free tour of the City Chambers? Twice a day, Monday to Friday.

Iconically dated signage.

The remnants of the Anderston Centre are like a little glimpse of the past. Such an odd survival amongst so much redevelopment.

How can a such an incredible mid-18th century building in the centre of such a desirable location as Portpatrick be allowed to fall into this state?

Love these signs.

Imagining them pinned up in early medieval Ardnamurchan guiding Viking raiders…

I think local libraries are so important. I love that my library gives me a breakdown of the money I saved borrowing books in 2024.
