I’m very excited to be participating in this next summer. I’ll be presenting my research entitled ‘Noblewomen as Patrons of Religious Institutions: Shaping the Sacred Landscape of Medieval Europe’.
New piece posted on Substack. A small taste of my research I’m presenting IMC Leeds next week.

I decided to start a substack to showcase small bits of the research I am working on. I am focusing on medieval women, specifically how they navigated and shaped the world around them.

Hello Bluesky! I’m an archaeologist who focuses on medieval Ireland with a special interest in nunneries and monasteries. Not much to post yet but there will. Returning to Ireland in January! For now here’s me with my pupper, Izzy.
