ARC is thrilled to share that a group of folks doing trans solidarity work across prison walls are throwing a COVID-safe concert in New Haven and online. All proceeds will go to trans people in prison!

We had a great time talking with people at our sessionthis morning at #JusticeNow2024 on #ReproJustice advocacy across #prison walls! We shared analysis from our inside members and talked about ways people inside and outside can collaborate for reproductive justice.
Prisons as a Tool for Reproductive oppression: Shackling during childbirth, child taken, lack of access to fertility treatment, children taken away when incarcerated, binaries, limits to visits, mail, and calls with family, prohibits sex, conjugal visits rare, limited restorative possibilities, family policing, family separation, showers--restrictions, lack of privacy, gender-affirming care, self-expression, placement, hormones, surgery
