The music in the newer games is good too, just I feel the older games have more emotional weight to a lot of their tracks.

Here though, the Rover is just a hypocrite. Even if they don't remember they don't even attempt to try and understand her and have the nerve to tell her that her plan won't work no matter how many times she starts over.

I really do not see this as a "both sides were in the wrong!" conflict at all.

Saving the world means nothing if you can't save the things you value in it. This is why Mei in Honkai 3rd is such a great character. She's willing to forsake the world for those she loves.

The game's first act got hastily rewritten because everyone didn't immediately fall heed over heels in love with the Rover and I see that as a shame. Makes me wonder how much would be different if that original vision was kept in tact.

Phrolova is a step in the right direction as she's someone from Rover's past handled differently from Shorekeeper and Camellya (And the first playable character to not be fond of the Rover which is kind of huge by this game's standards...), but I want to see more.

If the game focused more on how the characters interacted with each other, apart from the main character, the overall character interaction and world-building would benefit so much. I love Wuwa's world, its conflict, and its characters. But the constant harem-baiting just brings it down.

A 30%+ difference between having Phrolova's signature weapon and not, conveniently re-running her BiS support in the second half of the same patch, which they also did with the elf, like god damn they aren't even trying to hide how shameless they are.

Having so many women want to get involved with the Rover really sucks because it devalues their agency as characters in the story... BUT I STILL LIKE THEIR STORIES. Shorekeeper, Camellya, Carlotta, Cantarella, Cartethyia. They're all so good no matter how much ship-teasing they get.
