I really have to wonder what was going through Cartethyia's mind here.
Recently found out her "sister" off'd herself to try and keep an evil demon from possessing her, then had her body taken for experimentation.
I can only imagine how furious she would have been.

I'll be real, some of the arguments against Phrolova sound like an incel's justification for why the Rover should be an asshole to her.

I'm not the biggest fan of how WuWa handles its characters.... But Phrolova? Damn man. She was handled so well and her inclusion in the story changed how I view the main character. It was good stuff.

Wuwa 2.5's story and character writing has thoroughly impressed me today and delved into topics and ideas I had wanted them to do for a while now.
It's still not my favorite gacha, but I respect what I played. Phrolova is Camellya/Shorekeeper tier but for different reasons.

After seeing the current situation with Phrolova, and what Kuro Games did with Cartethyia last patch, if I ever get someone trying to tell me that Wuwa is "so much less predatory" than Genshin/Honkai Star Rail, will throw the book at them.

Had a convo with one of my mutuals on Twitter about Wuwa, and it really got me appreciating that as much as I dislike wuwa's fan-service with how overly interested the women of the story are in the flat protagonist, I think it is impressive that they can still mostly write compelling characters.

Been playing Trails with my partner... I have a lot of mixed feelings about some things in these games... but there are some things I truly appreciate from these games. Renne and Nadia are great. I will fight people over this.

First of all? Amazing showcase. It's a great upgrade from the Switch 1 in every single way. I can't think of a single downside about the system itself. All the games they showed off? Fantastic. I'm happy to see Switch games getting-
