Listening to the remaster of The Silent Circus almost feels like it’s cheating. Spent the better part of my teenage years jamming this album, raw production and all and it being so cleaned up is weird. I feel spoiled especially on songs like Mordecai with its clean guitar solo towards the end.

Anytime this comes on, I’m reminded of when I worked in catering and I’m washing dishes after an event and this was playing through my Bluetooth speaker and someone walks by says “What the fuck are you listening to? It sounds like pop music made and played through a blown out speaker”

I’m always torn between which Perturbator album is the best, Dangerous Days or The Uncanny Valley but Sentient is such a strong and addicting song it’s hard some days to pick Dangerous Days (even though DD has She is Young, She is Beautiful, She is Next)

For those who frequented tumblr and were in the alternative scene/fashion, remember pastel goth and soft grunge? One of these styles just became like the prototype for “e-girl” fashion and the other is just dressing like you raided a Goodwill and Urban Outfitters.

I have basically every single Pokédex completed on the Switch but in order to get a shiny Meloetta, I have to throw everything into Home and then take it back out 🙃
