Probably because it hit at a formative time and nothing felt remotely as immersive to me back then, even today when I wake up to a gloomy cloudy drizzly sky, I can hear Daggerfall music in my head. The Unity port is amazing on a 90fps Steam Deck OLED display btw.

Shout out to Alex for creating the SterlingKey BT switcher which has made it so easy for me to use my fancy mechanical keyboards with multiple devices. Just upgraded to his newer version with a more premium case and very happy to have it at the heart of my setup.

I know I’m in the minority but I always liked this one. Some of the CG is rough in 2025 but otherwise I never really got why it was so unpopular.

Had been almost three years since I built a keyboard, mainly because I got a puppy almost 3 years ago. It’s nice to finally be at a place (in terms of her ability to chill) where I feel like I can take the time to do it.

I had to widen the holes on @misteraddons.bsky.social’s Reflex PCBs to line up the screw holes in Boxy Pixel’s shells but it was a worthwhile endeavor—love how this aluminum NES controller turned out

I do a ridiculous one hour drive just to take my dog to a groomer I trust (so many of them are shady as heck, I’ve learned). I sit at a lovely cafe down the street for a butt-numbing 3+ hours. Thank *god* for gadgets.

With each passing day I better appreciate that the corner of my home that sparks the most joy is my caffeine nook and all the tools, gadgets, and accoutrements I’ve adorned it with. It’s really so easy and not even that expensive to make amazing coffee and espresso at home.
