Probably because it hit at a formative time and nothing felt remotely as immersive to me back then, even today when I wake up to a gloomy cloudy drizzly sky, I can hear Daggerfall music in my head. The Unity port is amazing on a 90fps Steam Deck OLED display btw.

I cannot remember the last time I wanted to paste text with source formatting and cannot understand why the default isn’t for text to be pasted without formatting. Why do I have to remember a key combo or click a pull down/contextual menu every time?

Shout out to Alex for creating the SterlingKey BT switcher which has made it so easy for me to use my fancy mechanical keyboards with multiple devices. Just upgraded to his newer version with a more premium case and very happy to have it at the heart of my setup.

I know I’m in the minority but I always liked this one. Some of the CG is rough in 2025 but otherwise I never really got why it was so unpopular.

Had been almost three years since I built a keyboard, mainly because I got a puppy almost 3 years ago. It’s nice to finally be at a place (in terms of her ability to chill) where I feel like I can take the time to do it.

Almost every movie based on an SNL sketch feels long and stretched thin. With Friendship, Tim Robinson manages to take what feels like one of his I Think You Should Leave bits and turns it into one of the funniest, most twisted, and most original comedies in years, and it never runs out of steam.

I’ll never understand how *anyone* uses a communal apartment complex hot tub. Those couple hundred strangers you mostly want nothing to do with? It’s their bathwater you’re climbing into. That elusive leasing office and maintenance staff you can never get a hold of? They’re responsible for cleaning.
