Introduction:
The game editor/engine that I am developing is named SoftSphere and will be 2D/3D engine for my future game and app related projects. The engine, prior to this account, has been in slow development for months.

Don't worry. I'm not dead, lol. Just been programming the game engine again. I'll go back to the animation next time I'm in the mood to animate.

There is no way the animation is going to be done before next year. Fortunately, I don't HAVE to release it as a Halloween animation. I could also just release it when it's done and say it's a late one.

I am putting together a little animation for Halloween but it won't be done in time. I did, however, render a poster with 2 variants based on the animation that I will post along with the animation. But because the animation will be late, should I post the posters early?

I admit that between my announcement of moving house and now I have actually started the project from scratch but with the old project as a reference. The reason for this is efficiency, reliability and optimised code. The next dev log will be big but not as originally intended.
Next dev log will be a big one. At least from a developer point of view based on the frequency of dev logs on the project.

Apologies for the inactivity. Managing other things have kept me from fully working on the engine but progress has, and will continue, to be made.

For those who don't program. When I say that the functionality of your code, whether it works or not, can boil down to literally one letter, symbol or otherwise, I am not exaggerating, lol.

I moved into my new house early but I'm not 100% back to the game engine just yet due to two bizarre issues that popped up in the project that makes absolutely no sense to me what so ever. This will definitely take a while to figure out.

Recently, my family and I, have bought a house and will be selling our current one. Everything relevant will be happening within the next 4 months including the move.
From now on, till then, a lot of work will be done.

Next dev log will be a big one. At least from a developer point of view based on the frequency of dev logs on the project.

Progress is still being made but slowed as I have picked up another hobby since the household has acquired two new pieces of machinery to play with which will also give an good and early reason to practice my 3D modelling.

Development is progressing on the current feature but slowly. Besides a kink in my custom string class I'm replacing the scenes list on the side of the explorer window with just the explorer and making it so projects and scenes can be loaded directly from it instead.

Dev Log: 7/Nov/2024

(Had to exclude project creation at start to keep video within 60 seconds.)

Added the functionality of creating and loading projects and scenes.
Added a proper functioning inspector window for interactive with an object's components and such.
