The new manga by Nio "Bloom into You" Nakatani is kinda generic magical girlfriend stuff so far, but it does have a teddy bear Rider Kicking a black ops dude in the face so it clearly can't be that bad.

Kamen Rider Gavv was easily the best Rider show since Zero-One. Mostly bereft of the disastrous pacing and aimlessness plaguing the more recent series, it boasts likeable heroes, excellent villains and enjoyably bonkers action choreography that more than makes up for its gaudy aesthetic.

Wanted to make gumbo. Ended up making something distinctly not gumbo.
Defrost 1 pound (or more) frozen, deveined, easy-peel shrimp. Peel all the shrimp and keep the peeled shells. Sauté the shells in some olive oil until they have turned pink, then add 4 cups of water. Lower the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, then strain. Finely dice 4 ribs of celery, 1 large onion, 1 green and 1 red bell pepper, and cut the kernels off 2 cooked ears of corn. Heat 1/2 cup of vegetable oil over medium heat until it shimmers, then add 1/2 cup of flour. Stir until a roux forms, then keep heating the roux over low heat, stirring constantly until it has the color of dark chocolate. Stir in the diced vegetables, letting everything cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in 6 cloves of garlic, minced, and sauté until fragrant. Stir in the shrimp stock you made earlier. Stir in 1 14 oz/400 g can of chopped tomatoes. Add the 4 kielbasa sausages, sliced into coins and 3 bay leaves. Season with cajun or creole seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper and Worcestershire sauce to taste. Bring to a boil, let simmer without a lid for an hour. Remove the bay leaves and add the raw shrimp to cook for four minutes. Serve with white rice, parsley and finely chopped spring onions.
