Rain or shine, we will stand with victims this Sunday at 5PM on the steps of City Hall at #WDoR2025

Showing up in solidarity at this event is deeply meaningful to victims. With many City leaders in attendance, your presence also shows that we demand change.

Please come if you can ➡️ walksf.org/wdr

On this World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, remember that pickup trucks don't kill people by themselves, there's always a driver sitting behind the wheel #WDoR2025 @walksf.org @sfbike.org

Essentially, Chow told Lurie he supported the mayor's upzoning plan, then turned around and spoke at a rally against it. Then said he still "would take the supervisor position if it were offered." (via SF Standard)

Notably Lurie passed over Albert Chow, the NIMBY hardware store owner who played a major role in the recall (and accused the targeted supe of trying to bring a "different demographic" into Sunset). But precisely how Chow whiffed on the appointment is also hilarious.
