I think the statistics about school services is even more interesting! The CofE has 4700 schools just think if the existing parish church for each one set up a NWC for kids in their school - younger and more diverse sorted!

I am reading Truth and Repair by Judith Herman. She stresses reparation as central to the pursuit of justice. She talks of victims, perpetrators, bystanders as all having a role in truth and repair. Church has been a bystander and is now an active blocker to repair by blocking reparation.

My Theology of planting a Church in a new development in a brand new CofE school. Pray, turn up, be faithful, and build relationship with those the Spirit brings. Expect the unexpected and be prepared to be pruned.
