Such a treat to lead Carols by candlelight this evening. Two services 500 people. I had the best view in the house! 800 years of Christmas Eve celebrations in this wonderful building. “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”

Just watching this ready for a rather special event in my parish school on Friday! Can’t believe we actually did this in June 2023 - that is the sound of 2,500 children wanting to be world changers! Enjoy the ear worm - it’s a banger! youtu.be/uKE9U7Tj_QI?...

Spent an evening on my iPad! It felt like the first year or ordination training in 2020! But better! I love Julian and Hannah Lewis did a great job! So that’s Hildegaard, Claire of Assisi and Julian - half way through my Sarum Female Mystics Course for fun!

A great Head Teacher’s briefing today. We shared Psalm 147:1-11 and spent time thinking about Flourishing for All CofE anti- bullying guidance for schools, how we might gather pupil voice and a case study of amazing courageous advocacy in one of our schools. So proud of our school family!

What a great day for an SSM priest determined to share the gospel with the next generation. Presiding at Communion at Rugby school Chapel and then working with the kids at St Gs our Church in schools this afternoon. 50% children aged 3-16 today - what a joy! God is good!

What a joy to preach to two very different congregations today on Isaiah 43:1-7. Do not be afraid I have called you by name you are mine! 14 children at St Gs this afternoon - our Church in school - producing their own reminders that God knows their name and calls them his own. YES and AMEN!

This article dares to dream of the radical hospitality offered to the most vulnerable child that was mentioned in a recent Sojourners article, the same that was offered to our Lord. Mary's yes was radical.

St Gabriel’s CofE Academy at St John’s for the Christmas experience in the other Church building in the parish. Wonderful questions from year 3 - including if Jesus is God for Christians why do they call him king of the Jews? Lots of theological reflection going on! @dioceseofcoventry.bsky.social

In response to the investigation into the experiences of 193 children who were sexually abused by a family member,
@markrusselluk.bsky.social said: "This report lays bare a devastating truth: too many children at risk of sexual abuse are being failed by a system that reacts too late."

Today I eventually finished my photo memory frames of Alive 2023 for the DBE Office. Every time I walk in and out to my desk I will walk through the middle of them and say a prayer for the children who were there. #Worldchangers
