Police are trained to shut victims up and protect the systemic capital. “Keeping the peace & controlling justice” means stopping victims from fighting back, and stopping victims from getting justice. It’s a monopoly of injustice.
When I had a violent stalker who would graphically describe how he would have me gang raped, puncture my organs and and break all my bones, I was told the police "couldn't do anything".
