In middleschool they used to say that rich people use calendars and planners and thats why they are so successful. Im like, nah they pay others to schedule.

A physics model fir a ship and water us overkill for games. This and maybe a animation blueprint will make it those 10 seconds so good.

Should be possible. I've been importing a bunch of models with the goal to learn the control rig work flow.

The biggest issue I found is just the scale of the mesh and bones not being friendly in unreal.

But the retargeter has become so good. Just some retarget chains and your good to go.

Man I hope not. I really just want UE5 to compile to web gpu to share my meme games.

Can't have nice things.

Can't wait to see your progress. I studied this stuff in college but I've been taken to pure software. Nice to see some digital schematics for a change.

I hope to see more!

Cool, thanks. Optimization usually isn't brought up in tutorials so its nice to read more people doing it. Your mecha game is looking awesome. Hope to see more :3

What exactly was optimized? Did you change the Niagara emitter settings?
November 27, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Right, Ill keep that in mind for my longer projects.

For game jams I think itll be a little harder to blend in.
Ill try to make the game fun, but I have procrastinated and Im basically trying to rush it lol.

I will have to learn to manage my time better for future game jams and game projects.

So it just calls that even at all times using that timer handle?
Wouldn't that be a bad thing if the player is so far away and it still checks?

It would be funny to have a visual gag of sorts. Like visualizing the viewers of twitch streamers. :3

Awesome, so I assume it was added to the UI Widget as an animation asset right?

So before the menu shows up it plays that and the animation sequence uses those values to tween them right?

It does bring some impact on the menu. Really cool Good job!

That's how we learn. Have fun with the messing around haha.

Making PCGs is a job itself. No default version control other makes maintaining alot of that a huge headache unfortunately.
