I have played with this one for hours. Sketched, made different decorative designs, and made a totally different bowl…and then…I undid it all and backed up, and ended up here with a simple traditional, symmetrical design.

Alberta slips with oxides.
Mason stains in slips for background colors.
Sponge patterns. All being bisque fired a second time. I get a thicker coat of slip on the pot that way, and the second bisque ‘sets’ the slip so that it doesn’t spread or smear with the crystalline glazes. Whoa!!
